I can’t stress this one enough.

If you run a local business, you NEED to be using Google Ads.

There is no local business in the world that would be hurt by using Google Ads. Every local business in existence would benefit from doing Google Ads.

Every.

Single.

One.

Guaranteed.

But,

If you’re using it you need to know what you are doing.

Because every time I log into a new client’s google ads account I see that they are using the dreaded ‘Performance Max’ campaign.

And every time it’s performing miserably. Just terrible results all round.

I get why anyone would choose it. I mean you log in to Google ads and then you see that option. Of course you’re gonna choose it… because you want maximum perrrrrfffffoooorrrmmmannnnceeeeee

Now, there is a time and place for Performance Max Campaign.

If you’re not experienced at Google Ads… this is not the time not the place.

So instead, just start with the basics. Just go with search. Test out some stuff.

Trust me on this one. Everything will work so much better.
